The Close of the Day, Ravenscraig Park, Nikon D90

There wasn’t much sun left in the day. I had been dropping the camera down to the ground and experimenting with view points – something that is far easier with the TLR when you are able to compose as you look down. I’m not supple enough to crouch at ground level and and I didn’t fancy lying on the cold sands – there are limits as to how far I will go.  So press the shutter and hope for the best, and I was rewarded with this. The lens was stopped down to f22 to cope with the direct sun.
